Event-Driven Display

The Event-Driven Display (EDD) application allows you to display visual content to a site, for example, displaying video surveillance footage and digital signage applications. EDD provides everything you need to present content from a remote source to one or more connected displays within a site. EDD can react to external events, and display content from on-premises sources (for example, the RTSP stream from a local camera), or from a remote site (like a webpage). This enables you to display a restaurant’s menu on the screens above the counter, show arrival and departure times on an airport, or any other content that’s relevant for your environment.

It’s important to note that EDD does not contain any business logic, it is only responsible for showing the content of the source on the connected displays.
